EricBlueCoat can do this. IM is a difficult one to track due to its ability to port hop, but BlueCoat's port 80 Security appliances are able to track IM usage irrespective of which port it uses.
Their product is basically a proxy server - like Microsoft's ISA server but more secure - with caching, URL filtering, bandwidth management, and options to tie in with AV products like Finjan's SurfinGate and Symantec AV via the ICAP protocol.

Good day everyone.Does anyone know if There is any functionality built into Exchange IM for logging chat sessions? If not, is it possible to do this with any third party software? We don't use it yet, but are considering it. What are the thoughts out there about any other reputable IM software?Best Regards.
