RE: Security Certifications. Help needed

  There's a new security designation from Microsoft for 
people who have MCSE(2K) plus two additional requirements,
one of which is met by Security+.
  I believe there's a Cisco security designation just beyond
CCNP level.
  These are both options which build on cert paths you've 
already started along.

  (I have to echo the comments from others that experience
is probably more important than certifications.  Certifications
*do* demonstrate interest and commitment, and there've been a
couple of times I've run into strange things in the field that
I was able to identify because I'd seen them described in the
course of getting certs.)

Hi all.  I am a security specialist wannabee, i have an MCSE 
on NT4 platform and a  MCP in windows 2000 and i am currently 
studying to become a CCNA and  Security + certified 
Profeessional.  Where should i go from here? can you point 
out some other certifications  around available that should 
help me in this IT Security area?  Tnks in advance.
