Have you tried Apple's built in Disk Utility?
Give it a spin, application/Utilities/Disk Utility

Or try Norton's Disk Doctor.

Subject: Macintosh / PC hard drive security

This may be a little odd to ask in this forum, but I was curious to find out
if there is a script out there available that is similar to debugging a
partition on a PC hard drive for a MAC.

Also, what would be a secure way to delete data from a hard drive of a MAC
that has *sensitive* information on it such as medical and patient
information.

Thanks,
Shayla
