There's also an excellent GUI for the Windows version of Snort, called IDSCenter - you can find it here: http://www.tlsecurity.net/windows/filearchive/IDScenter1.0.9.html
Looks good. I recommend PureSecure from Demarc. http://www.demarc.com It is a very strong product that combines host-based and network-based intrusion detection into one product, and provides a management interface for controlling a whole little network of detectors. It also provides a way to monitor services on your network, in addition to having notification via email when any of the IDS or service monitoring events take place. It is a very strong product. - -danielrm26 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.0 iQA/AwUBPjh2BVJwf7WiYT5vEQI8kgCcDFfhZk6lDbn31P3XB6kWHF69kHIAn30A CwnnuiG6uM9ptobRij/FogVV =vpAS -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
