eTrust suite contains access control software, which formerly known as memco
access control. Its an excellent access control as well as sso solution,
working at kernel. Therefore, interoperable in windows/unix environment.

SAIC sells a product called UCAMS
http://www.saic.com/products/software/ucams/ucams-tech.html It is not a
single sign on application, but it is a password distribution
application. I.e. You have to sign on to each system but your userid
and password are the same. UCAMS has various clients including Windows
Active Directory, Oracle and Unix support. MS-SQL servers can be setup
to utilize Windows authentication. For a less expensive solution, you
might look at PAM
http://www.win2000mag.net/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=25319. This will
allow Linus users to authenticate with a Windows domain.

Has anyone successfully implemented a single sigh on solution
in a Unix / Windows environment?

If so could you send on product details or a URL to a guide please.

NOT Web based, I know there are a few web based solutions but
I need it in an enterprise with Windows NT and up, Linux
servers and MS-SQL. Client has one logon only or single sign on.

I am looking at kerberos so if I am going down the wrong
track please let me know.

Many thanks
