I suggest using ntfs pro , works on all win2k / xp without any problems
Just make sure to boot to dos and to run the ntfspro command then browse
to winnt system32 config and remove the SAM 
Then boot :-)

Just for the record.  This CD is a collection of utilities normally
found on floppies that are collected on a bootable CD.  It contains the
same or similar utility as the ntpasswd utility by nordahl
