If training for a cert, wouldn't you want to teach more of what's required to pass the exam? I've taking courses before that were thrown together and taught more on the "real" life stuff (which is good), but not enough to pass/understand the cert. I think for ethical hacking more on hacking as the other stuff is a Security+ thing. my .02 - Nick -----Original Message----- From: Michael Roberts [mailto:security () mile2 com] Sent: Friday, October 03, 2003 10:48 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Counter Hacking Class - Critique Requested G'day guys, We am looking for constructive criticism on our current outline with a view to solicit suggestions for upcoming revisions. If anyone is inclined to do so, please review the outline linked below and let me know what changes if any you would like to see if you had your druthers: http://www.mile2.com/certified_ethical_hacker_training.html In particular, would you rather see less on Viruses, denial of service and keep it purely hacking. Or are we on the right track with a nicely rounded class?
