Why don't you just use MS SUS? It's free.
Not if you don't have an existing MS server infrastructure. If you've only got, say, Linux or Novell servers you don't have the luxury of SUS without paying for an MS server license and all the CALs needed to communicate with it. So there is a lot of interest in alternative solutions for patch management, even though it seems that MS intentionally makes it difficult to use third party products. --J(K) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- FREE Whitepaper: Better Management for Network Security Looking for a better way to manage your IP security?
