Mag, When I got married 25 years ago...is was a permenent "goodbye to party nights and sunday movies"...nothing but hard work and bills to pay since then. You are lucky..to have put a hold on these activities for just 6 months. --- MY-Magdelin Tey <magdelin.tey () my e-cop net> wrote:
Is is not that REALLY hard to get the CISSP certification. However, it does takes alot of time to prepare, read and understand. This requires alot of dedication and stamina to juggle between the working and studying schedule. It took me 3 months to prepare, not an easy task, endless nights of reading after work, visitng the cccure.org website more than often for practice exams and extensive brainstorming sessions with peers..:) Basically it is temporary goodbye to party nights and sunday movies...:) Cheers Mag -----Original Message----- From: James McKiernan [mailto:James.McKiernan () robertwalters com au] Sent: Sunday, August 31, 2003 11:49 PM To: 'Scott Morgan' Cc: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: RE: Security+ Advice "Then shoot for the Cissp cert" Maybe it's just your choice of words, but that just makes it sound easy. Are you suggesting that a little bit of study, some reading of an exam crap and a little IT savvy ness is enough to obtain a CISSP? What I'm trying to find is how hard is it REALLY to get a CISSP? If you have a goog handle on security. Just use the exam cram 2 book. Then shoot for the CISSP cert.
