You need the 3 years in infosec.  Don't bull, I know a few who did and
got caught.

Read the books, all of them, and then book the exam a few months in
advance.

Read all the books again, use the study guides.

No matter how much you prepare, it is a difficult exam.

They say the Cissp CBK is a Mile wide, and an inch deep......I concur
that
