RE: Sharing a DSL line

I am considering sharing a DSL line for both a staff and a public
network,
the public one wireless, the staff one hard-wired. Both will lie
behind
firewall routers, so theoretically any potential attacker from the
inside
would be in the same position as an intruder from the internet. Is
this
correct?
No, the network will appear different to hosts external to your network. Hosts behind the firewall may be less secured and may be more susceptible to internal attacks. For example: http://www.google.ca/search?q=virus+spreads+via+network+share&ie=UTF-8&o e=UTF-8&hl=en&meta= Could you give more information as to what you're looking for? Your question is a bit vague and leaves a lot open to interpretation.
