i work for a company which limits its internet access to a few individuals thru an access control list. My question is it possible to detect if we access the internet thru another proxy server located in another country. we can access this proxy thru our intranet..
If the System Administrators see a large Internet taffic involving the proxy, they will look at the proxy Log files. There they will find your activity. If I were you, I would ask my Boss/Personnel Department to permit Internet access during the lunch pause and/or after hours, so it will not interfere with employee productivity, but still make people happy. Time based permissions are available, for example, in FreeProxy: http://www.alphalink.com.au/~gregr/freeproxy.htm Ciao!
