Is it possible to sign the files with standard tools (f.e. openssl)

Can I use the signcode without installing the whole mono framework?
(stand-alone tool)

thx

This site details using the mono toolkit in place of the Microsoft .NET
framework.

signcode.exe is one of the .NET tools that has been (in part) ported to
systems which can use the Mono.NET Framework.
