The idea has been floated of running a script when the user connects that deletes their default route to the Internet, then adds a route directly to our network. This should theoretically remove access to their machine from the Internet. We would run an exit script that reverses this so they get their connectivity back.
Often I use VPN functionality from customer LANs to get back to Office. The VPN client I use does not allow communication with the Local Area Network, while VPN is active and connected. Once the VPN connection drops, LAN becomes active. In other words it filters the traffic accordingly.
Over the dial up it does the same. You may look for similar functionality. -- Regards Tariq Malik
