Heyaz. If you'll forgive the self-promotion here...another solution to (1) securing VNC data transport with strong encryption while at the sametime (2) not having to open any ports for the target PC is to use the EchoWare Remote Support System. Product details here:
http://www.echogent.com/products.htm I hope the picture there communicates the idea: both the Viewer side of the connection and the Target side make a first connection to an echoServer owned & operated by the support-provider. Any VNC sessions are then relayed thru the echoServer, where all of the traffic appears to be "outgoing" from the p.o.v. of any intervening firewalls or routers.
