This is what i would recommend:

Switch    - Cisco 2950 with gigE connections ( I would have 2 of them
for failover)
Firewalls - Cisco Pix 525 with Fiber connections (I would have 2 of them
for failover)
IPS/IDS - Alert Logic
LB's       - Cisco 11503 ( I would have 2 of them for failover)
Servers   - Dell 2850's running Redhat ES4
