I would agree with the fact that the CISSP holds weight in the industry. When I was consulting, lots of gigs were not available to me because I did not have my CISSP. Ignore the fact that I have over 10 years experience and have lectured nation wide! No CISSP, No gig. I would recommend getting the CISSP. Robert J. The CISSP isn't necessarily for management, but security consultants. Both are vendor neutral certifications. And as far as how much weight each one has, I think anyone you asked would say the CISSP definitely has more weight in the industry. good luck.
