Late as it is, is it just me, or is this a flawed implementation at best?

a PCMCIA (aka removable) adapter being sold to implement security
from afar...
sounds like a terrible waste of cache.

The can encrypt the HDD, or disable the laptop (in case of theft) and lot more.
