The TRC-Alerts mailing list provides FLASH style alerts as critical
information relating to terrorism or homeland security is released.
Examples include attacks relevant to U.S. homeland security, changes in the
homeland security status, international conflict issues, or the capture of
a high-profile terrorist. 

Messages will typically be less than 100 characters making this service
optimal for pagers or text message enabled cell phones.
