Take 2. Uhh, why would you want to do that?!? The whole idea of AD parent child domains is to allow easier maintenance and control of domains at local level for large or geographically distributed networks. Things to consider? - will you have one or more backup DC in case your "master" dies? - will your single DC have enough CPU cycles to handle all of the traffic - will your single DC have enough network bandwidth to handle all traffic, especially at peak periods like start and end of work day - duplicate names, for users and devices. Duplicate Names that were separated by domains will now all reside in same domain, will have to be resolved as you merge the domains
