I think more likely putting together very high profile attacks, and a packet explaining the implications that go with 
may do more to sway them than anything else. There have been plenty of instances. If you run SQL servers, hop on google 
with them and search for well documented attack injections via googling, and show them what [i]may[/i] happen. Detail 
how this could lead to further damage, not only to your organizations data but more importantly to it's reputation. 
Most non-profits have a rapport they have built up in trying to help or accomplish that goal. It would take one hit to 
blemish something so many have devoted so much time, effort, money, and love into . Highlight those aspects and your 
point may just be made. Treat em like they are from Missouri and "Show them".
