Before this, I think a more secure network should be used. VMware is a very good product but what about your LAN ? If you don't have a strong firewall, you should used a Level 2 management switch and create VLAN. On your VLAN, put a router and set outbound rules to deny all except HTTP, HTTPs and DNS. This VLAN will access only Internet. (hope I'm clear) ++ Vincent
Hi, Just use Backtrack linkux. It includes almost everthing(all scanners, banner grabbers, password crackers, exploits etc ) that you need to start penetrating testing.
