I agree with your choice of RADIUS + 802.1x. The certificate part
might be a bite of a pain, but most secure. I am sure there is
something out there that can automate rotating certificates for you,
if the user just plugs into a LAN.

Hello list,
I would like to secure access to my network using RADIUS authentication. I've two choices:  RADIUS-MAC  and
RADIUS-802.1x with certificate I want to kwon which of the two do you find easy to manage. In the doc I read,
RADIUS-802.1x is more recommended for wireless and RADIUS-MAC for wired networks. My network is wired and personally
I prefer RADIUS-802.1x which I think combines security and manageability.
What do you think ?
