If there is a client associated to AP you could send a disassociation
packet to the client/clients disconnecting them all getting them to
reconnect, but if this is not a lab setup and not for educational
purposes then the help from this forum will probably cease. If it is a
lab set then sniff the air while having a client PC
associate/reassociate to the WLAN and you shall get what you need to
proceed to the next step.

Good luck!

In order to capture a handshake you are going to need a client to
generate one with the AP.
You could easily setup a  machine to connect, disconnect, repeat, as
needed to help facilitate the process.  Check out the aircrack-ng
documentation on the subject. It's probably the best guide.
http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=cracking_wpa  Take note of the
section on troubleshooting the capture process.

Good luck.

I was reading about cracking WPA wireless AP. in all the tutoriales its written
to capture the handsake packetes. is this the only way? what if there isnt any
client connected to the AP? do I must wait for one to connect in order to crack
the Password?
