Allowing threads full of drivel like this, by a repeat offender, is doing a disservice to the professionals using it.

According to the directions, I should be able to enter: msf auxiliary(vnc_login) > show actions What am I missing? Many thanks, -TYou know, the little buzzard is working over in my VM of Kali-linux. No msf command will work on the host machine.Hi All, I figured it out. While looking up iformation requested by the Metasploit form, on a lark, I opened an xterm and elevated to root. Then I cd'ed into /usr/local/bin. And I ran msfconsole directly. Guess who started working! I had been rinning: /usr/bin/gksu -u root "/usr/local/bin/msfconsole" from my Xfce Pane2lanucher. So, I tried /usr/bin/gksu -u root "cd /usr/local/bin; /usr/local/bin/msfconsole" No joy. So it is the gksu command that is at fault. So, I switched my Xfce Panel 2 launcher to: su root -c "cd /usr/local/bin; /usr/local/bin/msfconsole" With run in terminal checked on, and JOY! Thank you so much for all the help and moral support. -T
