Of course, on the newer machines (LXs and Classics, anyway) you can reset the NVRAM to the factory default values with a certain keystroke (L1-D I think) while the machine is powering up. Has anyone tried this to make sure it won't reset the passwords?
It's L1-N. It won't reset *anything* when security mode is something other than none. So better keep your PROM passwords somewhere safe. Casper
