Hey, I dont know if anyone knows about this or if this is even exploitable, however I have found in many Linux slackware distros a common file in /tmp. This file comes about after installation. Its tar-error which is root.root -rw-rw-rw-. I dont know if anyone has noticed however I was curious if this file also come about after ugrades in slackware distros and possibly if this file would follow links to .rhosts or passwds.. Just a thought. Kirby Boteler AISC
