Hi Dave et all.

It is my opinion that Richard Forno does in fact know what he is talking
about.  The problem with quotes and the press in general is that it is very
hard to get your point across in proper context.

As for Symbiot and their "technology".  I think it is a horrible idea.
Maybe I am closed minded but anyone that has the brains to attack something
also has the brains to not use a box that belongs to them directly.  These
types of technologies do nothing but give an attacker yet another way to
attack a target.  For example, if my target is SCO and I would hope that
someone like Redhat is running "strikeback" technology and actually attack
them from or at least make it appear to be from SCO.  This would let Redhat
do my dirty work leaving me completely anonymous as I would be smart enough
to use the test lab in China.

I just wanted to reiterate how no one who knows anything 
about information warfare talks about it in public. Certainly 
you have to wonder what Richard Forno was thinking when he 
made up his missile analogy.
