I do ask, but they waffle and clam up. Primarily they trot out the PR/communicatrions department ============ good -- keep asking. and yes, pr people are one obstacle. and i don't mean to be too harsh. but even reporting something like, "The company declined to [or could not!] say how it came to conclude that the thief or thieves didn't want/didn't access the data" would further illuminate the issue for readers. i'm an advocate of calling them on the carpet. :-) -- Kim Nash
