Facebook news feeds and Twitter accounts have been buzzing with acknowledgments of their social security numbers being stolen. Some have just addressed their frustration, saying "Big Red Fail" or "WTF Cornell!?" Some are offering links to credit protection sites. Even a few have been explicit, using graphic language and threatening acts of vandalism against the University. Many students have expressed outrage at the event.
