http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8619933/July-7-families-tell-of-anger-over-News-of-the-World-phone-hacking-claims.html The families of the July 7 victims have spoken of their anguish after being told their phones may have been hacked by the News of the World. Detectives from Scotland Yard have contacted a number of relatives to warn them that their voicemails may have been accessed in the days following the 2005 terrorist attacks which left 52 people dead across London. Investigators working for the paper are thought to have hacked the phones in an attempt to find harrowing messages from distressed family members anxious for news of their loved ones. _______________________________________________ Dataloss-discuss Mailing List (dataloss-discuss () datalossdb org) Archived at http://seclists.org/dataloss/ Unsubscribe at http://datalossdb.org/mailing_list Learn encryption strategies that manage risk and shore up compliance.
