Investigators discover origin of credit card fraud outbreak

Investigators have found the source of a credit card fraud outbreak,
police said Tuesday.

A local business computer was hacked by a “criminal enterprise” and
steps have been taken to prevent further financial theft, a Gallatin
Police Department release said.

Police did not identify the business. The release said the business
was a “targeted victim” and the employees were not responsible for the
fraudulent charges.

The case is being investigated by Gallatin police and the Secret Service.
