Hello

At Marist I rewrote our registration server code last August to include a Nessus scan during the registration process. We are not using NetReg but a custom PHP web based system that I wrote which was based off of a project called PHPreg. This system has worked out very well for us, dealing with patch problems during the school year. I will actual be presenting this system at the Resnet Symposium being held next weekend at Princeton University for any one on the list who might be attending and interested in the subject. But for anyone not attending the conference please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions that someone might have about the system.

Greetings -

The postings regarding system scans, system registration, etc., has been timely for us as well.

We are looking into integrating a Nessus scan of client computers on our network with a system registration system we are building.  If there is anyone out there who has already done this, our network programmer would like contact information - preferably a programmer with whom he can discuss the particulars.

I have seen several postings from institutions who use Nessus and NetReg.  A contact name for this implementation would be helpful as well.

Please provide the contact information to Eric Young, 309-677-2230, thatguy () bradley edu.  Thank you very much.
