We are using the Cisco 3.x series of VPN clients with a few SP2
machines and no issues. So far, the only issue I've seen is the need
to tune the host firewall that is enabled by SP2 to allow certain
applications that are pushed from our servers to the clients.
Symantec has no issues other than what I mentioned with regards to
having updates pushed from the server.
