We use Accudata Systems for our audits, and have had good experiences
with them. I believe they are moving into the Los Angeles market.
Contact me off list if you want more info.

Subject: [SECURITY] Network Security Auditors

I am looking for network security auditors that have been used by
private higher ed institutions. Since our campus is located in Southern
California, I would like to make sure they do business in our area. Is
anyone familiar with a firm on the west coast that has specific higher
ed experience?

We have already interviewed one corporate company that was too rigid and
set on a SARBOX type network audit without consideration that private
higher ed may not need that level of evaluation but may need an audit
based on FERPA and other educational type legal issues.

I appreciate the help. Keri
