The October 30 edition of the SANS NewsBites said, "A Heads Up for State and Local Government Agency Security Officers: In early December, a major national program will be announced enabling state and local government agencies to buy laptop encryption software for approximately $16 per copy in volume instead of the $160-$200 retail price. The program will be explained at the Mobile Encryption Summit December 3-4, in Washington DC: http://www.sans.org/encryption07_summit/ " Anyone heard any more about this? -- Gary Flynn Security Engineer James Madison University www.jmu.edu/computing/security
