Our situation is a bit different. Our language department uses Skype in the lab as a means of connecting a classroom of students here with their foreign counterparts in other locations. It works well for them in this situation. IMHO, the bandwidth concerns can be mitigated by careful application of bandwidth management appliances, without impairing the use of Skype as our users intend. My users may have pledged use of their bandwidth, but it's my job to issue them only enough to keep Skype sane... -- Regards, -- Cal Frye, Network Administrator, Oberlin College www.calfrye.com, www.pitalabs.com "Truth, like surgery, may hurt, but it cures. --Han Suyin.
