I would also be interested if anyone can comment on how well your devices can detect encrypted bit-torrent and other protocols. We currently have a NetEnforcer, but we feel it's doing a pretty poor job at detecting encrypted traffic. -- Michael J. Hello all, The topic has been discussed on the list before, but since it's been a little while, I thought we could revisit it and hear updates from people who have had any experience with new options. We are in the process of looking at replacing our aging and bandwidth crunched Packetshaper. I am curious what others are using, especially if you went from a Packetshaper to something else. I'm aware of the NetEqualizer, the NetEnforcer and the Procera Packetlogic. Any thoughts from users of these products and/or any other devices or solutions people have come up with? I'm especially interested in how you handle redundancy/failure of such a device at your site. Feel free to respond to me off list if you prefer. Thank you, Vince
