There are a number of opportunities to get SANS classes at a discount:

1. www.sans.org/partnership has class listings for a variety of SANS
classes that are offered ONSITE at an EDU, in Interactive Video
Conference where the instructor teaches from a host site and remote
site connect in using our standard remote classroom technology, the
SANS OnDemand or the VLive online format (www.sans.org/vlive).

2. Going through these venues allows you to pay substantially less for
the class usually anywhere from $700/person to 1500/person instead of
the real world price of ~$3500/person.

Also, there are plans to have a 1 or 1/2 day SANS short course at the
2010 Educause Security Professionals conference.
