This session will explore the general challenges of provisioning remote
users and the specific impact of HEOA regulatory requirements that ask
accrediting organizations to evaluate college identity procedures for
distance education students.

This presentation is one of the Hot Topics and Current Issues in
Identity and Access Management, provided by the leadership of the
EDUCAUSE Identity and Access Management working group and gleaned from:
1) questions posed to the Identity Management discussion group, 2)
federal policy developments affecting identity and privacy, and 3) other
higher education and industry initiatives.
