Sadly we are required by the UAE government to heavily filter the web.
 The students know how to get around it (proxy/vpn service), but we
thankfully haven't been tasked with trying to block those subversive
tactics.  Faculty/staff are unfiltered.  Bypass requests go through my
Director.

When I was at Pacific.edu I had a filter in place for AV/Malware, but
not for content.
