I saw this issue pop up in the interwebs a couple of weeks ago. You would think the industry would provide some sort of maintenance mode HD wipe feature standard, especially for leased units. I like when the guy said the security features on the one digital copier cost $500 extra. With leased units would ever really know what you were getting with a security feature set. Seems like you would almost be better off asking the leasing company for a keep the hard drive option for digital copiers. Don't forget printers with flash memory and hard drives can store fun stuff also. Thanks...
