Re: Security Patch Schedule

Desktop systems (both instructional and administrative) are patched/updated any night between 11pm and 6am. For
servers, network equipment and storage of any kind (both instructional and administrative), the standard outage window
is from 10pm, Saturday night through 12noon, Sunday. There are exceptions to this (both ways) - but folks have grown
accustomed to the routine.....

Subject: [SECURITY] Security Patch Schedule

Our campus is looking at the possibility of having regularly scheduled outages for system updates and patches.
Obviously on a college campus, the users want access to every system 24x7, but that is not realistic. So, I’m poking
this group to see what you all do for maintenance schedules.
