Software Engineer for Virginia Tech PKI Support

Virginia Tech is currently seeking applicants for the following position within  Secure Information Exchange Services.

Software Engineer

The position will assist in the analysis, design, and deployment of computer security technologies that will help 
insure the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of access to university enterprise services. Job 
responsibilities will include software development, maintenance, integration, consultation, configuration, systems 
analysis, design, security services, and other duties as required to support the university enterprise Public Key 
Infrastructure (PKI). Install, analyze and test vendor software. Provide technical assistance with the planning and 
integration of security technologies into university business processes. Test and evaluate new technologies that will 
improve or enhance the security of existing or new systems being deployed.
