FYI - The third annual National Cybersecurity Network Workforce Summit: Educating the Next Generation of Leaders to Get 
Ahead of the Threat, will be held December 1-2 at the University of Massachusetts Boston Campus Center. Additional 
information is provided below, and also attached.

The University of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership and the Business-Higher Education Forum are 
pleased to invite you to the third annual National Cybersecurity Network Workforce Summit: Educating the Next 
Generation of Leaders to Get Ahead of the Threat, December 1-2 at the UMass Boston Campus Center.

Free and open to the public, this event will bring together corporate and education leaders who are engaged in 
re-engineering the relationship between business and higher education, including former Raytheon CEO Bill Swanson, 
UMass President Robert Caret, UMass Amherst Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy and UMass Boston Chancellor Keith Motley.

A reception and dinner featuring a keynote address by Gregory Bialecki, Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Economic 
Development, on Monday, Dec. 1, precedes a day-long program of panels and networking opportunities on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The two panels anchoring the program feature the findings and implementation plan of a highly prestigious University of 
Massachusetts Cybersecurity Taskforce, as well as a corporate senior leadership panel focused on the cross-disciplinary 
needs of cybersecurity skills. The event will articulate the broad industry need in Massachusetts for a workforce 
highly skilled in cybersecurity and the university/business partnerships focused on addressing the next generation of 
cybersecurity leaders.
