Advanced Cloud technologies are key to leading transformation for the
academy, but moving to the Cloud isn¹t merely a technical issue. Leaders
need strong processes and standards to mitigate the risks of security,
accessibility and procurement‹while swiftly delivering solutions for broad
and rapidly growing user needs in the Cloud.

Distinguished Professor of Law and Adjunct Professor of Informatics and
Computing at Indiana University, Fred H. Cate, will present this Internet2
CloudProud� Webinar focusing on:
-- The changing face of security threats and legal and compliance
obligations faced by cloud computing
-- Strategies for identifying and mitigating risks‹risks to privacy and
security, risks to institutional mission, reputational risks and legal
risks 

Fred¹s extensive experience in cloud security and privacy issues stem from
his work with Microsoft, Google, Intel, the Department of Defense and
Homeland Security, and the Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research. He
frequently provides Congressional testimony on these topics.
