Subject: [SECURITY] Business Email Compromise Half Day Workshops

REN-ISAC is partnering with the FBI, United States Secret Service, other ISACs, and Symantec to provide a series of
free, public workshops on Business Email Compromise this fall. The workshop series is aimed at increasing awareness
about the threats and ways to protect against compromise. The attached flyer provides additional details.

Business Email Compromise Workshop schedule:

October 13 San Francisco
October 16 Seattle
October 19 Kennedy Space Center
October 25 Akron
October 26 Phoenix
October 27 Denver
October 30 Nashville
November 3 Boston
November 7 Kansas City
November 8 Los Angeles

If you’re interested in attending a workshop, please follow the registration link provided in the attachment.
Additional workshops in November are still in the planning stages and not yet confirmed. Please check back for more
information in the upcoming days. These events are live with no streaming option. However, if there’s enough
interest, REN-ISAC can provide a follow-up webinar on the topic.

As part of the series, there will be an exclusive one-hour briefing, “Threats and Protection: Business Email
Compromise” presented by FBI Supervisory Special Agent Benjamin Stone at this year’s EDUCAUSE Annual Conference [1].
This session requires registration for the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference and will not be open to the public.

If you have any questions or want more information, please let me know.
