Same here…worked with the university’s risk management officer. The university carries $5M in insurance.

Lance,

We worked with our Office of Risk Management to determine institutional risks and then benchmarked against other
institutions. Concerns included PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, research intellectual property and other compliance concerns. The
University of Delaware carries $10M in cyberbreach insurance.

Hope that helps,
Sharon

Are any of your institutions currently protected by cybersecurity insurance? If so, can you briefly state how you
determined the amount of insurance coverage you landed on.

Thank you,

Lance
