What kind of devices are being used currently? It may be that the existing devices are on the PCI council's list of
validated point-to-point encryption solutions while Square is not.

Subject: [External] [SECURITY] PCI keeping it simple

Question:

So, I was just asked how is this different then the devices that our one card vendor sells us?

https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/3797-secure-data-encryption<https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsquareup.com%2Fhelp%2Fus%2Fen%2Farticle%2F3797-secure-data-encryption&data=01%7C01%7Cdbukawes%40PROVIDENCE.EDU%7C1f25b8345ef8442122f208d6c826c18f%7C29196f361d5e4d2689453be41ba81178%7C0&sdata=TmWbBT1NnXp3i0GxXAsn1volujWGjFnViX%2BBnDdUwvk%3D&reserved=0>

Is anyone allowing or using Square on their administration production network?

Thoughts??

Thank you,
