Source quench are only deprecated from routers. End systems should continue to send them. Read the latest router and host requirements.
The latest host requirements I know of is RFC 1122, and there sending source quenches by hosts is a MAY, not a SHOULD. I don't know of any hosts that actually send them - do you? Vern
